Mentorship

Why evaluate?

One of the key strengths of CCaTS is the supervision and guidance that mentors provide for students and scholars. The program evaluator monitors mentoring relationships to ensure they are meeting productivity standards.

What's evaluated?

Mentors, those being mentored and their relationships are evaluated using both summative and formative methods.

How's the data analyzed?

The CCaTS director of evaluation collects and analyzes all mentorship data.

How are results used?

Results are used by mentors and those being mentored — and CCaTS leaders, managers and administrators — to improve mentorship within CCaTS.
