Who Can Use CCaTS?

The staff, facilities, resources and programs of the Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCaTS) are available to everyone involved in research throughout the whole Mayo Clinic enterprise.

In particular, CCaTS seeks to support the career development and research projects of investigators in the early stages of their research careers, who may not have established, extramurally funded research programs or extensive institutional funding.

Programs and services include:

• Education and training programs for all members of the research team
• Access to facilities such as clinical research units and laboratories
• Expert consultation services
• Resources and consultation to support community engagement in research
• Funding opportunities
• Access to external consortiums and collaborators, including other Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) program hubs
• Support from offices specializing in conduct of clinical trials, entrepreneurship, translation to practice, and research subject recruitment
• Investigators who use CCaTS resources, programs and services must cite one or more of the CCaTS grant numbers in their publications
