Requests for Extensions on Current Awards
CCaTS may grant no-cost extensions to Benefactor-Funded Research Early-Career Development Awards.
Requests for no-cost extensions
Current awardees may request an extension of up to 12 months beyond the original award end date. Brief requests should be submitted in writing to Sue J. Rubow at rubow.susan@mayo.edu. Requests should be submitted within 90 days of the original funding end date and should include:
- An approximation of the funds remaining.
- A description of the activities that will take place during the extension period.
- How the awardee will ensure the project is completed by the end of the extension period.
Requests for additional extensions are considered only with strong justification.
