Physician well-being is supported by various Mayo Clinic facilities including:

Mayo Clinic Physician Health Center

The Mayo Clinic Physician Health Center offers external, practicing physicians comprehensive, customized and coordinated access to high-quality care for a variety of issues, including professional burnout, physical health and occupational health concerns.

Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center

The Mayo Clinic Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center (DAHLC) is located on the Rochester campus and serves Mayo Clinic employees, retirees, students and volunteers.

In addition to fitness classes, relaxation services are offered including hydro-massage, massage, reiki and acupressure. There are also a number of employee well-being offerings including programs on stress management and resiliency training (SMART), finding purpose in your work, mindfulness in medicine and practicing gratitude.

Health coaching, nutrition services and healthy meal preparation classes are additional offerings.

Office of Staff Services

The Office of Staff Services assists physicians with professional as well as personal concerns. The sole purpose of this group is to encourage the well-being of physicians and other voting staff.

Financial services, benefit counseling, retirement planning, and resource and referral services are provided at no cost.

The Office of Staff Services also provides a confidential entry point for physicians with referrals, when appropriate, to partners in psychiatry and psychology, and to the employee assistance program.
