Melanoma of the eye is a rare and sometimes aggressive form of melanoma.
Eye experts from the Department of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic work closely with melanoma physicians to provide specialized care for eye melanomas. Melanoma researchers are conducting studies to identify better primary treatments and to understand more about the spread of melanoma from the eye to other parts of the body.
