Oncology

Physicians in the Department of Oncology focus on the patient-centered approach to melanoma care and treatment through collaborations with all departments across Mayo Clinic.

These departments practice in conjunction with the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center, which ranks in the top tier of cancer centers in the United States for cancer research, treatment and education. Oncology physicians and researchers work together to advance the science behind melanoma, including melanoma biology, prevention and treatment. Patients with melanoma have access to personalized cancer treatment and numerous novel therapies through clinical trials.
