These courses aim to help academic researchers, community members and other stakeholders strengthen their partnerships and enhance their ability to apply community-engaged research principles to address community health needs.

Citizen Scientist Program

This program is designed to train community health advocates and health workers as community research advocates. These citizen scientists are prepared to participate as active members of community-engaged research teams in partnership with academic scientists. Some citizen scientists may choose to specialize in a particular scientific discipline, such as clinical trials, implementation science, translational research or another area of research.
