Clinical trials Below are current clinical trials.552 studies in Oncology (Medical) (open studies only). Filter this list of studies by location, status and more. SC Versus IV Isatuximab in Combination With Pomalidomide and Dexamethasone in RRMM Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the efficacy non-inferiority between isatuximab SC and isatuximab IV in combination with pomalidomide and dexamethasone (Pd), and to demonstrate the pharmacokinetic (PK) non-inferiority between isatuximab SC and isatuximab IV in combination with Pd. Dose Escalation Study of mRNA-2752 for Intratumoral Injection to Participants in Advanced Malignancies Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of escalating intratumoral doses of mRNA-2752 in participants with relapsed/refractory solid tumor malignancies or lymphoma. Neoadjuvant Combination Targeted and Immunotherapy for Patients With High-Risk Stage III Melanoma Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this early phase I pilot trial studies how well vemurafenib, cobimetinib, and atezolizumab work in treating participants with high-risk stage III melanoma. Vemurafenib and cobimetinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving vemurafenib, cobimetinib, and atezolizumab may work better in treating high-risk stage III melanoma. A third cohort of patients (Arm C) will receive tiragolumab and atezolizumab for neoadjuvant therapy, and atezolizumab alone for adjuvant therapy. YH001 Plus Envafolimab With or Without Doxorubicin in Patients With Advanced or Metastatic Sarcoma Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability and determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of YH001 when given with envafolimab dosed at 600 mg SC every 3 weeks in patients with advanced or metastatic sarcoma who are refractory to or intolerant to other available therapies. Also, to evaluate safety and tolerability and determine RP2D of YH001 in combination with envafolimab dosed at 600 mg SC every 3 weeks and doxorubicin dosed at 75 mg/m2 every three weeks in patients with advanced or metastatic sarcoma who have not received doxorubicin or checkpoint inhibitors and are refractory to or intolerant to other available therapies. A Study of Subcutaneous Nivolumab + Relatlimab FDC in Previously Untreated Metastatic or Unresectable Melanoma Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate pharmacokinetic non-inferiority for nivolumab + relatlimab FDC SC (fixed-dose combination for subcutaneous administration) formulation versus nivolumab + relatlimab FDC IV formulation. Testing Lutetium Lu 177 Dotatate in Patients With Somatostatin Receptor Positive Advanced Bronchial Neuroendocrine Tumors Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this trial is to study the effect of lutetium Lu 177 dotatate compared to the usual treatment (everolimus) in treating patients with somatostatin receptor positive bronchial neuroendocrine tumors that have spread to other places in the body (advanced). Radioactive drugs, such as lutetium Lu 177 dotatate, may carry radiation directly to tumor cells and may reduce harm to normal cells. Lutetium Lu 177 dotatate may be more effective than everolimus in shrinking or stabilizing advanced bronchial neuroendocrine tumors. PRevention of Acute Kidney Injury Initiated with Electronic Surveillance Enhancement Rochester, Minn. This is to define and validate an electronic surveillance tool to be able to detect acute kidney injury (AKI) automatically and alarm the clinicians when patients make the acute kidney injury criteria (defined by acute kidney injury network). Our hypothesis is that this tool (AKI sniffer) is able to detect AKI before the clinicians and also earlier intervention (applying AKI prevention bunmdle) triggered by sniffer can improve patient outcome. A Study of Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) in Patients With Hematologic Malignancies Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of APG-2575 as well as dose escalation and dose expansion stages. A Study to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics and Anti-tumor Activity of WSD0922-FU Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The purpose of this study is to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and/or the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of WSD0922-FU in subjects with recurrent glioblastoma, IDH wildtype (GBM), anaplastic astrocytoma, IDH wildtype (AA) and CNS metastases of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Study of [68Ga]FAPI-46 PET in Patients With Pancreatic Ductal Carcinoma Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the ability of [68Ga]FAPI-46 to detect FAP expressing cells in patients with resectable or borderline resectable PDAC. The [68Ga]FAPI-46 PET scans will be acquired after initial staging using institutional standard methods. If the participant is prescribed neoadjuvant therapy, a second [68Ga]FAPI-46 PET scan will be performed within 21 days prior to planned surgical resection. The patient comes first. So the mission and research here is to advance how we can best help the patient, how to make sure the patient comes first in care. So in many ways, it's a cycle. It can start with as simple as an idea worked on in a laboratory, brought to the patient bedside, and if everything goes right — and let's say it's helpful or beneficial — then brought on as a standard approach. And I think that is one of the unique characteristics of Mayo's approach to research — that patient-centeredness — that really helps to put it in its own spotlight.
