Efineptakin alfa (NT-I7) Plus Pembrolizumab for the Treatment of Recurrent Glioblastoma Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to determine the response rate to the combination of pembrolizumab and NT-I7 in patients with recurrent glioblastoma. PLX038 for the Treatment of Metastatic Ovarian, Peritoneal, and Fallopian Tube Cancers Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to determine the response rate to PLX-038 in patients with metastatic ovarian, primary peritoneal, and fallopian tube cancers that are resistant to platinum drugs. A Study to Analyze the Association Between Financial and Health Insurance Literacy and Financial Distress in Patients Being Treated for Cancer Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The purpose of this study is to assess the level of financial and health insurance literacy and financial distress in cancer patients coming to the infusion center by analyzing the correlation amongst these outcomes, as well assessing their association with baseline sociodemographic and disease/ treatment factors. A Study to Assess Financial Burden and Its Impact on Quality of Life in Patients with Plasma Cell Disorders Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the magnitude of financial toxicity in newly diagnosed and relapsed multiple myeloma (MM) and amyloidosis (AL) patients. T-DM1 and Tucatinib Compared With T-DM1 Alone in Preventing Relapses in People With High Risk HER2-Positive Breast Cancer Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to determine if the invasive disease-free survival (iDFS) with T-DM1 and tucatinib is superior to the iDFS in the control arm (T-DM1 + placebo) when administered to high risk patients with HER2-positive breast cancer and residual disease after neoadjuvant HER2-directed therapy. Testing the Addition of a New Drug, Venetoclax, to the Usual Treatment (Ibrutinib and Rituximab) for Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia/Lymphoplasmacytic Lymphoma Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of ibrutinib and rituximab with or without venetoclax in treating patients with previously untreated Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia/lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma. Ibrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Venetoclax may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking Bcl-2, a protein needed for cancer cell survival. Giving venetoclax with ibrutinib and rituximab with may work better in treating patients with previously untreated Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia than ibrutinib and rituximab alone. Epidemiology of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Rochester, Minn. The overall goals of this study are to evaluate similarities and differences of the known genetic and non-genetic epidemiological factors associated with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) risk across African Americans, Hispanics, and Caucasian populations. Radiation Therapy With Concomitant and Adjuvant Temozolomide Versus Radiation Therapy with Adjuvant PCV Chemotherapy in Patients with Anaplastic Glioma or Low Grade Glioma Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether radiation therapy with adjuvant PCV is more effective in treating anaplastic glioma or low grade glioma. Profiling of Lung Cancer for Identification of Treatment Targets and Strategies Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this research trail is to study the genetic alteration/mutation and immune profiling in surgical resected Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) tumor samplesand to investigate the correlation between genetic alteration/mutation status and tumor immune micro-environment. Study of [68Ga]FAPI-46 PET in Patients With Pancreatic Ductal Carcinoma Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the ability of [68Ga]FAPI-46 to detect FAP expressing cells in patients with resectable or borderline resectable PDAC. The [68Ga]FAPI-46 PET scans will be acquired after initial staging using institutional standard methods. If the participant is prescribed neoadjuvant therapy, a second [68Ga]FAPI-46 PET scan will be performed within 21 days prior to planned surgical resection. The patient comes first. So the mission and research here is to advance how we can best help the patient, how to make sure the patient comes first in care. So in many ways, it's a cycle. It can start with as simple as an idea worked on in a laboratory, brought to the patient bedside, and if everything goes right — and let's say it's helpful or beneficial — then brought on as a standard approach. And I think that is one of the unique characteristics of Mayo's approach to research — that patient-centeredness — that really helps to put it in its own spotlight.
