Doctoral training

Mayo Clinic's Health Engineering and Analytics Laboratory (HEAL) welcomes students pursuing doctoral degrees through the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences' Ph.D. Program. Of the various Ph.D. program tracks, HEAL research aligns primarily with the Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Track and the Clinical and Translational Science Track. Students interested in conducting dissertation studies under Dr. Athreya can apply directly to the Ph.D. Program.

Undergraduate education

Dr. Athreya accepts undergraduate students for summer research training experiences through Mayo Clinic's Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF). Undergraduate students interested in pursuing summer training opportunities can apply directly to the SURF program.

Other opportunities

Students and researchers interested in pursuing postdoctoral or other training opportunities in HEAL can contact the lab for information about available positions.
