The aims of this study are to assess the clinical efficiency of utilization of a dual-plane simultaneous view ultrasound probe (Butterfly iQ+; Butterfly Network, Inc.) during arterial catheter placement in the operating room. Outcome metrics to include: number of attempts for successful cannulation, amount of time to complete procedure, percent of failed attempts / total attempts, and to assess end-user response to use of dual-plane probe via subjective feedback.
The purpose of this study is to perform and analyze standard transthoracic echocardiography with contrast and strain imaging in 80 consecutive patients seen in the Mayo Clinic Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) Clinic and interpret any prior pre- or post-SCAD echocardiogram studies for comparison.
