Inclusion Criteria:

• All adult (18+ years of age).
• 1980 or 2013 American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Systemic Sclerosis Classification Criteria,12,13 2) at least 3 of the 5 features of CREST (calcinosis, Raynaud phenomenon, esophageal dysmotility, sclerodactyly, telangiectasias) syndrome.
• The combination of definite Raynaud’s phenomenon, abnormal nailfold capillaries, and a SSc specific autoantibody (anti-centromere, anti-topoisomerase I/Scl70, or anti-RNA polymerase III). Prior work suggests that approximately 80% of patients retrieved from the institution’s database with a diagnosis code for scleroderma meet 2013 classification criteria.14
• Control (comparator) population will be patients underwent a non-contrast chest CT scan after 2007 for non-pulmonary indictions

Exclusion Criteria: 

• CT scans will be excluded if contrast was utilized.
• CT scans will be excluded if there are pulmonary effusions for masses which would affect the CALIPER results.
