The purpose of this study is to establish an aggregate database of information on the diagnosis, management (acute and definitive), surveillance and outcomes following blunt thoracic aortic injury.

 

Elegibilidad para la participación

Los requisitos de elegibilidad de los participantes incluyen la edad, el sexo, el tipo y el estadio de la enfermedad, y los problemas de salud o tratamientos previos. Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients with CT/CTA, duplex, angiographic or clinical/ operative diagnosis of injury to the aorta following blunt trauma, the initial management of which is at the enrolling center (i.e. must arrive from point of injury and not prior medical center or facility)

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Patients age <2 years old
  • Prisoners
