Postdoctoral Master's Degree Program

The Quantitative Research Methods concentration prepares scholars to:

Explain key epidemiologic and biostatistical concepts for specific study designs.
Determine which analytic techniques best fit the study design at hand and develop an analytic plan.
Identify potential areas for bias and variance within a study and propose methods for mitigating these concerns, both during the design phase and during post hoc analyses.
Critically evaluate studies using epidemiologic and biostatistical methods to identify strengths and weaknesses.
Interpret and communicate quantitative study results clearly to a broad variety of audiences.
