Application Process
For the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) School of Medicine Research Award commencing in June, all application materials must be submitted by email to Enid J. Garcia Rivera, M.D., M.P.H., UPR School of Medicine, by Feb. 1.
Application components
- A one-page letter indicating how this research experience (project) will help you reach your career goals
- Your curriculum vitae, including MCAT score and undergraduate GPA
- A letter of support from a college or medical school faculty member
- A letter of support from your medical school dean or associate dean indicating that you are a student in good standing and a good candidate for this research experience
