Post-Doctoral Positions
The Vaccine Research Group employs post-doctoral candidates with strong backgrounds in immunology, virology, molecular biology, and/or genetics. Qualified applicants for this position will possess a Ph.D. in immunology, virology, microbiology, molecular biology, cell biology, or related field. Graduate Students
Mayo Clinic graduate students are awarded guaranteed five-year internal fellowships with full tuition, stipend and benefits. Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students interested in gaining more research experience may be interested in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) or the Graduate Research Employment Program (GREP).
Technicians
The Vaccine Research Group employs research assistants and technicians. Specific duties include sample processing and shipment, PBMC isolation, antibody and cytokine ELISA, ELISPOT, flow cytometry, cell culture, and growth of various viruses. Attention to detail is essential while dealing with multiple tasks. Flexibility is important in adjusting to frequent changes in work volume.
