SUMMARY

Wei Shen, Ph. D., is a Mayo Clinic researcher whose areas of focus include hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes and rare diseases. He co-leads the hereditary oncology subdiscipline in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. As the associate director of Mayo Clinic's Clinical Genome Sequencing Laboratory, Dr. Shen is also interested in implementing advanced sequencing technologies and bioinformatics pipelines to improve patient care.
