The research interests of Paul M. Magtibay, M.D., are focused on using minimally invasive surgery — including robotic, laparoscopic and vaginal techniques — to treat malignant diseases and complex benign conditions of the female pelvis.

With the ever-increasing use of advanced robotic technology, Dr. Magtibay's team is now focused on performing complex surgical procedures in gynecologic oncology via minimally invasive surgery. Additionally, the robotic platform allows the team to perform intestinal excision of endometriosis with fewer complications and reduced patient recovery time.
