SUMMARY
The main area of interest in research is imaging of genitourinary system, including ultrasound, CT, and MR imaging. I have been actively involved in animal and clinical research on various topics including renal infection, infarction, and tumor ablation, genitourinary neoplasia, and gynecologic diseases.
I co-authored 72 articles in peer-review journals in the field, including Radiology, American Journal of Roentgenology, European Radiology, Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography, Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, Radiographics, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Abdominal Imaging, Korean Journal of Radiology, Journal of Korean Radiological Society, and Journal of Korean Society of Ultrasound in Medicine. I also co-authored two books entitled "Imaging of the Scrotum" and "Radiology illustrated: Uroradiology."
I was given several honors, awards, and distinctions from international societies, including the Award for Best Presentation at the 24th Annual Assembly of the Society of Uroradiology, "Certificate of Merit"? and the "Excellence in Design"? awards at Radiological Society of North America and invitations to submit an article to Radiographics.
I am a Fellow member of the Society of Uroradiology and an active member in several societies such as Radiological Society of North America, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine. I have also been working as a reviewer for several international peer-review journals such as European Radiology, Acta Radiologica, and Korean Journal of Radiology.
