SUMMARY

Primary clinical responsibilities at Mayo Clinic Hosptial, Saint Marys Campus, are to provide anesthesia for:

  • Cardiac and vascular surgery.
  • Thoracic surgery.
  • Interventional cardiology and vascular radiology.
  • Neurologic surgery.
  • Neurologic radiology.
  • Clinical toxicology of anesthetic agents, both general and local.
  • Neuroprotection of brain and spinal cord from peri-anesthetic ischemia.
