The primary research goals in the Division of Epidemiology involve:

  • Advancing discovery science related to understanding etiology and risk factors of diseases, their mechanisms of development and progression.
  • Pursuing effective interdisciplinary team science through internal and external research collaborations and partnerships.
  • Furthering translational research to promote health and health equity locally, nationally and internationally.
