Martin and Winifred Ehlers Visiting Professorship in Molecular Research

With generous support from the Ehlers family, Mayo Clinic's Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology sponsors visiting professorships for distinguished lecturers in symposia organized by department faculty and students.

The 2022 Ehlers Symposium

The department is hosting the Ehlers Symposium on Sept. 30, 2022. Career development and entrepreneurship sessions, student presentations, student posters and faculty presentations will be held during the symposium. The Visiting Professorship and Plenary lectures will be given by Selina Wray, Ph.D., and Barry M. Gumbiner, Ph.D., respectively. The symposium is now accepting abstracts for both oral and poster presentations from students and postdoctoral fellows. Complete the Call for Abstract form by July 15th, 2022.

9th Mayo Clinic Symposium on lmmuno-Oncology and Tumor Microenvironment Crosstalk 2022

This CME symposium course at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, Amelia Island, Florida, Dec. 9-11, 2022, will bring together basic scientists, clinical experts and industry partners in the field of tumor microenvironment, immune therapy, anti-angiogenesis and targeted therapy. This symposium will facilitate the exchange of ideas and new scientific direction involving basic biology and pathways that eventually lead to new individualized therapies for patients.
