Validation of Dried Blood Spot Testing for HIV Screening and Syphilis Serology Rochester, Minn.
The purpose of this study to determine if patient self-collected DBS from finger-stick blood for HIV and syphilis serologic testing offer similar results to laboratory-collected plasma or serum specimens.

Risk Factors for False Positive HIV-2 testing (FPHIV) Rochester, Minn.
1. To describe the demographics and comorbidities of patients with false positive testing for HIV-1 and HIV 2 (defined as positive or indeterminate antibody screening which failed to be confirmed by polymerase chain reaction testing).

The purpose of this study is to determine if self-collected rectal and pharyngeal swabs for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea NAAT provide comparable results to provider-collected swabs and can be used in a clinical setting to offer testing vial a mail-in process.
