The objective of this study is to assess the metabolic effect of systemic inhibition of IL-4 signaling on insulin sensitivity in patients with atopic dermatitis by comparing in vivo evaluations of insulin sensitivity in subjects on dupilumab vs. subjects matched for similar adiposity, with atopic dermatitis, but without dupilumab therapy.

The purpose of the study is to assess the effectiveness and safety of ruxolitinib cream in children with atopic dermatitis.

The purpose of this extension study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of two dosage strengths of PF-04965842, 100 mg and 200 mg taken orally once daily, over approximately two years of study participation. Patients who meet safety step-down criteria will have their dose reduced once, from 200 mg QD to 100 mg QD, or from 100 mg QD to placebo.

The primary purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of REGN3500 monotherapy in atopic dermatitis (AD), as well as understand the dose-response relationship, compared with placebo treatment, in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD.

The purpose of this study is to investigate PF-04965842 in patients aged 12 years and over with a minimum body weight of 40 kg who have moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.

The purpose of this study is to:

1. To determine the response rates and toxicity in patients that have undergone skin directed radiation therapy for inflammatory cutaneous dermatoses.
2. To review and report the institutional experience, clinical responses, and recurrence rates after skin directed radiation therapy by varying dosing regimens and treatment regimens.
3. To gather information on technical innovations used in the treatment of inflammatory dermatoses with the goal of publishing our findings so that others can utilize techniques we have found to be useful in the treatment of particularly challenging cases.

The current clinical guidelines for management of atopic dermatitis now recommend bleach baths. This requires simply the addition of regular household bleach to twice-weekly baths. At the Mayo Clinic, dilute acetic acid (vinegar) has been recommended for decades in wet wraps to treat patients hospitalized for their atopic dermatitis. However, this practice has not been widely adopted in the pediatric dermatology community. Will the use of dilute acetic acid (vinegar) in twice weekly baths help manage atopic dermatitis in pediatric patients as well as, or better than, the current accepted guidelines?

The purpose of this study is to compare the assessment of the composition of the fecal, nasal,oral and skin microbiota in patients with AD (cases) as compared to age/sex and diet matched control children without atopic dermatitis, and to apply mass-spectrometry-based metabolomic approach to analyzing fecal, nasal, oral and skin samples from cases, in order to characterize their biochemical metabolic profiles by comparison with those of their controls.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a specific and inexpensive topical approach to lowering the burden of flares in children with atopic dermatitis.  

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the contribution of C. albicans to dysbiotic microbial communities of mucosal tissues in pediatric populations. Prospective sampling across multiples tissue sites in a pediatric cohort will be used to assess which tissues are colonized by C. albicans and associated with microbial dysbiosis seen in atopic dermitis.
