Broad Evidence of Systemic Immune Activation in Long Term Survivors of Advanced Ovarian Cancer

About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine if long-term ovarian cancer survivors after receipt of a vaccine targeting folate receptor alpha will have persistent T cell and antibody responses to folate receptor alpha and will have broad evidence of systemic immune activation.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Diagnosis of advanced (Stage III or Stage IV) OC.
  • Either:
    • Participated in one of these studies: MC1015 IRB11-000976, or MC1361, 004398, or FRV-004* IRB17-003933 (Cohort A); OR
    • Did not participate in a vaccine clinical trial (Cohort B);
      • NOTE: Since FRV-004 was a randomized controlled trial that has been unblinded, only patients who received active vaccine will be approached for Cohort A.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • < 18 years of age.
