Abdominal CT Exams Automated Liver Tumor Segmentation

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate abdominal CT images obtained from clinically indicated examinations obtained for metastatic liver lesion assessment in abdominal CT scans.

The study will use software to measure liver lesion and extract linear and volumetric measurements that will be used by the radiologist for RECIST criteria calculation. We will quantify their acceptance modification and/or rejection to determine if the accuracy is of acceptable level as well as capture the impact of the AI tool in the radiologist workflow.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

Patients: routine CT Abdomen imaging ordered as part of the clinical routine.
Physicians/radiologist: members of Mayo clinic’s radiology departments across the enterprise.

Exclusion Criteria:

Patients: any contraindications for CT imaging, inadequate CT acquisition (noise, motion, etc).
