About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate and assess a new perineal access tool to enable image guided prostate interventions by Clear Guide Medical in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic.

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Scheduled for a MR guided biopsy or ablation.
  • Male, 45 years of age or older.
  • One, two, or three tumor suspicious regions identified on multiparametric MRI.
  • Tolerance for anesthesia/sedation.
  • Ability to give informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Presence of any condition (e.g., metal implant, shrapnel) not compatible with MRI.
  • History of other primary non-skin malignancy within previous three years.
