White Matter Disease Segmentation on Brain MRI Evaluation With an AI Algorithm

About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine if the artificial intelligece (AI)-generated results are less arduous than manual segmentation by radiologists, and determine the non-inferiority of the quality of AI vs. manual segmentation.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria: 

  • Patient:  Routine brain MR imaging as selected by radiologist.
  • Physicians: members of Mayo Clinic’s staff.
  • Physician participants must agree to the consent statement verbally or via email.

 Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patient:  Any contra-indication for MR imaging.
  • Physicians:  None.
