About this study

The aims of this study are to establish a registry and biorepository of patients with PH-CKD, and to identify clinical risk factors and biomarkers associated with PH-CKD and different hemodynamic phenotypes. 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Subjects with chronic kidney disease (estimated glomerular filtration rate < 60).
  • Recruitment will primarily focus on patients with end stage renal disease who are being considered for renal transplantation or initiation of hemodialysis.
  • Minorities will be included.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Individuals < 18 years of age.
  • Subjects not diagnosed with chronic kidney disease.
