Electronic Health Record (EHR) Sampling with Supplemental Survey

About this study

The purpose of this study is to assess the feasibility of using EHR data to supplement survey data for the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), with the ultimate goal of generating population estimates and actionable insights on methods for scalability, validation, and interpretation.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Mayo Clinic Primary care patients (empaneled in Mayo Clinic or Mayo Clinic Health System primary care).
  • Minnesota resident.
  • Had at least 1 primary care visit in the past 3 years.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Mayo Clinic Health System primary care patient with Wisconsin or Iowa residence.
