A Study to Evaluate the Safety of the SARS-CoV-2 Vaccination in Patients Waitlisted for Solid Organ Transplantation

About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine the safety of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in patients listed for solid organ transplantation, including heart, lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas.

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Any adult (over the age of 18 years).
  • Wait-listed for solid organ transplantation (heart, liver, lung, kidney, or pancreas) as of November 1st, 2020. 

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • < 18 years of age.
  • Refusal to participate and sign HIPAA.
