A Study to Evaluate Blood Metal Ion Levels in Patients with an Endoprosthesis

About this study

The overall goal of project is to determine if patients with an endoprosthesis have elevated metal ion levels and if this leads to increased cardiac or neural toxicity based on echocardiograms an neural cognitive testing.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adults age 18 and over
  • Patients with an endoprosthesis.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Patients without an endoprosthesis.
