A Study to Identify Strategies for Mitigating Procedural Aerosolization

About this study

The purpose of this study is to examine the room aerosolization related to various interventions, determine the aerosol clearance of the unique procedure and operation rooms, and assess the impact of aerosol mitigation strategies.

 

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age 18-70 years old
  • No known coronary artery disease, brochospastic disorders or coagulopathies.
  • Negative COVID-19 screening and molecular testing.
  • Able to give informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Age under 18 and over 70 years old.
  • Inability to receive sedation or anesthesia (if required for the procedure).
  • Emergency procedures.
