A Study to Analyze Lung Transplant Recipients’ Perspective on Antifungal Prophylaxis

About this study

The purpose of this study is to explore adherence, barriers, side effects, and preference for pharmacologic antifungal prophylaxis following lung transplant. 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Consenting individuals age 18 or older.
  • Have received a lung transplant within the last 36 months at Mayo Clinic Rochester MN or Mayo Clinic Jacksonville FL.
  • Have received or are receiving outpatient antifungal chemoprophylaxis. 

Exclusion Criteria

  • Under the age of 18 years old.
  • Multiple organ transplantations or re-transplantation.
  • Requires language interpreter.
