A Study to Evaluate RNA Transcriptomics for Predicting Allograft Failure or Rejection

About this study

The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of analysis of RNA transcripts from EVs sampled from the coronary sinus.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Planned endomyocardial biopsy post-cardiac transplant.
  • Suitable anatomy for coronary sinus sampling and successful retrieval of coronary sinus blood.
  • Ability to provide informed consent and consent for the study.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Multiorgan transplant aside from heart-kidney.
  • Refusal of study participation.
  • Unsuccessful endomyocardial biopsy.
