Dual Energy CT for Determining Kidney Stone Composition

About this study

The primary focus of this minimal risk study will be to assess and refine the ability of DE CT to accurately determine kidney stone composition.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients undergoing DE CT stone protocol scan at MCF with at least one stone > 2mm, and at most 5 stones in any one upper urinary tract segment.

Exclusion criteria:

  • Patient has denied permission for use of clinical data for research purposes.
