Inclusion Criteria

1. Adults females and males older than 18 years-old
2. Patients taking opioid medications or other  analgesics for at least 3 months prior to enrollment in IPRP
3. Patients who successfully complete the 3-weeks IPRP
4. Patients who successfully  discontinue use of opiate medications during IPRP
5. Patients who have signed study consent

Exclusion criteria

1. Subjects that do not complete the IPRP
2. Subjects under any type of glucocorticoid treatment (oral, inhaled, intra-articular or topical)
3. Subjects with existing  diagnosis of adrenal insufficiency or hypogonadism
4. Immunocompromised patients
5. Patients with current pregnancy
6. Patients with current hormonal therapy/ replacement
7. Subjects who have undergone surgical intervention within 30 days prior to enrollment in IPRP
8. Subject with a history of cancer requiring active treatment in the last 6 months
