A Study to Evaluate Outcomes of Proximal Hamate to Scaphoid Transfer in the Setting of Unsalvageable Proximal Pole Scaphoid Nonunions

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the postoperative outcomes of hamate-to-scaphoid transfer in a series of patients with collection of both retrospective and prospective chart data and prospective outcome measure questionnaires.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients 16 years or older.
  • Have already undergone proximal hamate to scaphoid transfer in the setting of scaphoid AVN/nonunion.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Patients younger than 16 years of age.
  • Patients who have not undergone the procedure of interest/
