A Study to Evaluate the Validity and Repeatability of Lower Extremity Kinematics Using Inertial Measurement Units

About this study

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the validity and repeatability of lower extremity kinematics calculated using inertial measurement units and subject specific calibrations compared to the gold-standard motion analysis during walking and activities of daily living.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Subjects must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Subjects must be able to stand and walk independently for unrestricted periods of time.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Subjects are less than 18 years of age.
  • Subjects are unable to stand or walk independently for unrestricted periods of time.
