Investigation of Body's Changes in Human Health and Performance via Simulated Intermittent Altitude

About this study

The purpose of this study is obtain blood biomarkers, exercise performance measurements, and perceived experience to help optimize an intermittent altitude exposure protocol for individuals that perform exercise in high altitude.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion criteria:

  • 18-80 years of age
  • History of good health
  • Generally active to competitive athletes.

Exclusion criteria:

  • History of cardiac or pulmonary disease
  • Not currently active
  • Unable to exercise or meet study requirements (e.g., number of sessions).
