A Study to Evaluate the Role of Gut Microbiome in Cancer Therapy

About this study

The purpose of this study is to correlate gut microbiome with specific cancer diagnoses and the clinical response (effectiveness), and adverse effects of cancer therapy (single or multiple) and stem cell transplant.

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age 18-99 years old.
  • Diagnosis of cancer and undergoing cancer therapy or scheduled to start cancer therapy or undergoing stem cell transplant for any hematological condition.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Unable to provide informed consent.
  • Vulnerable adults.
