A Study to Evaluate Whether or Not Riddell InSite® Measurements Correlate with King-Devick Test Findings and Concussions in Youth Football Players?

About this study

The primary purpose of this study is to report if higher helmet forces recorded throughout a 10 week, 10 game youth football season via Riddell InSite® will correlate with poorer performance on King-Devick concussion testing.

 

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • As above; players within Junior Development League (JDL)organization.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Non-JDL players; players with history of known neurologic or eye conditions that may make K-D testing difficult.
