Endoscopic Resection of Large Colorectal Polyps

About this study

The purpose of this study is to understand how to improve polyp resection of large polyps, and how to make it as effective and as safe as possible.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Any patient ≥18 who presents for a colonoscopy and who does not have criteria for exclusion
  • Patients with a ≥20mm non-pedunculated colon polyp

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients who are receiving an emergency colonoscopy
  • Patients with coagulopathy with an elevated INR ≥1.5, or platelets <50
  • Poor bowel preparation
  • Pregnancy
