A Study to Validate a Short Version of the Attention Network Test and Comparison of Different Cognitive Tests

About this study

The purpose of the current study is to determine whether we achieve the same measures of attentional performance if the ANT protocol is divided up into 6 blocks of 32 trials (i.e., a short ANT protocol).

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Healthy adults will be sought out for recruitment in the present study.
  • Participants will be within the age range of 18 and 70 years and will be non-smokers with no current or past history of cardiovascular, pulmonary, neuromuscular disease, and have no known history of psychiatric of mental disorders of attention. 

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Only participants not within the inclusion criteria guidelines or those who are unable to engage in exercise testing due to existing comorbidities will be excluded.
