A Study to Further Characterize the Complications in Glaucoma Patients Treated with Surgery Versus Medication

About this study

The purpose of this study is to further characterize the complications in glaucoma patients treated with surgery versus medication. The plan is to investigate visual outcomes of surgical and medical glaucoma interventions and interrogate potential risk factors associated with complications.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

Patients age ≥18 years diagnosed with glaucoma or ocular hypertension, or seen as a Glaucoma suspect.

Exclusion Criteria:

Patients seen at Mayo Clinic who decline the use of their medical records for research will be excluded.
Patients contacted will have the option to decline or withdraw at any time.
