Mammographic Density and Breast Cancer Subtypes

About this study

This study proposes to combine data from six large existing epidemiology studies to examine the association of MD and clinical risk factors with breast cancer subtypes.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

Participant on one of the six epidemiology studies which include:
- Mayo Mammography Health Study Cohort
- Natural History of Breast Density and Breast Cancer Risk Cohort
- Nurses’ Health Study (NHS I) Cohort
- Nurses’ Health Study II (NHS II) Cohort
- SF Cohort
- Biospecimen Resource for Breast

Exclusion Criteria:

Not a participant from one of the six cohorts or a participant from one of the six cohorts who has declined other breast cancer research
