A Study of Gadolinium in Serum and Urine Samples in Patients with No Prior History of MRI Exams

About this study

The purpose of the study is to quantify gadolinium levels in the serum and urine of local and nonlocal patients.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients will be included if they have not received contrast during  an MRI exam in the past

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Less than 18 years of age 
  • Have received prior gadolinium-enhanced MRI  
  • Insufficient volume of residual serum or urine for ICP-MS testing
