Determining the Special Gene Expressions in Patients with Lung Cancer or Mesothelioma

About this study

This study is being done to evaluate the immune system in patients with lung cancer or mesothelioma. We are going to analyze which genes are expressed by cells that fight infections to see if there are any relations to cancer.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Subject population: 

Patients with metastatic adenocarcinoma of the lung or mesothelioma

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Have a diagnosis of non-small cell carcinoma of the lung or mesothelioma

  • Willing to provide blood sample

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Non-thoracic malignancy

  • Unwilling to participate
