About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine the best noninvasive imaging exam for the diagnosis and follow-up of spontaneous coronary artery dissection, by comparing an MR angiogram, to the clinical standard CT angiogram.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

Males and females
Minimum age 21 years
Maximum age 80 years
Participating in the "Virtual" Multicenter SCAD Registry
Has been diagnosed with spontaneous coronary artery dissection
Is being evaluated at Mayo clinic by Dr. Sharonne Hayes, MD and/or one of her Colleagues in Cardiology

Exclusion Criteria

Vulnerable populations including children, prisoners, pregnant women, physically or mentally disabled persons
