ECG Patch for Monitoring Potassium Levels in Patients with Cardiac and Renal Disease

About this study

The purpose of this study is to refine the technique for non-invasively determined potassium measurement and to determine whether or not the technique can be realized in a single channel-subcutaneous ECG implementation modality.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria: 

  • Patients on chronic hemodialysis
  • Willing to sign the informed consent and comply with the program.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • History of an implantable pacemaker 
  • Patients who have a hemoglobin of < 8mg/dl in the last 30 days
